From over 70 applicants and participants\, following 8 weeks of training sessions and 5 days of preliminary pitches\, our 6 finalists will pitch for $15\,000 in prize money. The prize money is available thanks to the generous sponsorship of Albemarle County Economic Development\, Charlottesville Office of Economic Development\, and the Community Investment Collaborative. Entrepreneurs and small business owners in Charlottesville and Albemarle can apply to participate in the 10 week program including 8 training programs (Business Essentials Training) offered by Central Virginia SBDC and work with a business advisor to hone their pitch and develop a solid business plan. Graduates of Piedmont Pitch have the opportunity to pitch for $15\,000 in prize money! \n\n\n**Important Information for parking at The Wool Factory**
