DESCRIPTION:Have you considered starting a business but don’t know where to start? Do you want to create a rough draft of a potential business plan?\nREGISTER\nONLINE event via Zoom \n\n\nThis four-hour workshop covers the development of the business plan and financial forecasting of the business plan. Please be prepared to begin working on your business plan during the class. We will start by opening a Microsoft Word or Google Doc for you to add information to as we proceed through the workshop. By the end of the workshop you will have completed a rough draft of a portion of the business plan and have clear direction which areas you need to conduct research and add additional information to in order to complete. \nTakeaways: \n\nResearch tools\nBusiness plan components\nBusiness concept\nFinancial plan\nSupporting documents\n\n\nSpeaker(s): Angela Kelley\, UMW SBDC consultant Angela Kelley joined the Small Business Development Center in 2017 as an Early Venture Business Consultant. She created the First Steps to Starting a Business online learning module and works diligently with new businesses to form new business entities\, project monthly cash flows\, and register to sell to state and federal government agencies. Angela has a bachelor’s degree in business management with a focus in marketing from the University of Mary Washington and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington.
